How to make a Halloween rap video from a photo

Learn how to prepare a portrait, choose Halloween look and scene references, select a short video format, and review your AI rap video before sharing.

You can make a short Halloween rap video without filming yourself performing. In HalloweenRap, upload a person’s photo, optionally add look and scene references, then choose your clip length and frame. English rap and music are generated automatically. You cannot enter custom lyrics or upload a song.

1. Prepare your portrait

Choose a clear photo of the person who will appear in the video. A visible face and good lighting give the tool a clearer reference. Use a JPG, PNG or WebP file, and follow any upload messages in the creator.

Only use a photo of yourself or someone who has agreed to appear. Review the Terms of Service before creating content with another person’s likeness. A clear input photo helps describe your subject; it does not guarantee an exact likeness in the result.

2. Choose the Halloween look and setting

The person photo is required. The costume or makeup reference and the scene reference are optional. If you leave an optional reference empty, the service selects that part randomly.

For a more deliberate visual direction, choose references that are easy to understand together. A costume with a clearly visible face can give a different visual starting point from one that hides the person completely. The AI may still interpret either reference differently from what you expect.

Here are three directions to consider:

  • Costume reveal: pair a portrait with a makeup or costume image you want to use as visual inspiration.
  • Halloween party message: add a party setting as the scene reference, then use the finished clip in an invitation or group chat.
  • Spooky greeting: choose an eerie setting and a contrasting playful look for a short greeting.

These are creative starting points, not built-in presets or guaranteed combinations. HalloweenRap does not offer a text field for choosing the rap topic, and an invitation message is not guaranteed to appear in the generated lyrics. Add any exact event details separately when you share your video.

3. Set the length and frame

Choose a 5-, 10- or 15-second video. The creator shows the credits needed for the selected length before you generate.

For a portrait-oriented composition, choose 9:16 or 3:4. A square 1:1 frame is another option, while 4:3 and 16:9 give you a wider composition. These options change the frame, not a guarantee of acceptance or reach on a social platform. Output resolution is fixed at 768p.

4. Sign in and review the cost

Google sign-in and credits are required to generate a video. No free credits are included. Check the current credit packs, your available balance and the cost of your selection before starting.

The AI controls the rap, music and performance details. There is no lyric entry, song upload or exact wording control. Appearance, motion and lip-sync can vary from your expectations, so review those limits before spending credits.

5. Generate, watch and download

Start generation once your inputs and settings are ready. Follow the real task status in the creator or My videos. A temporary status problem or a browser timeout does not by itself mean the generation has failed.

When generation succeeds, play the result with sound before downloading it. Check the subject, background, motion and audio. If you want a different result, review your references and the cost before making a separate paid generation; a disliked result is not a technical failure or a free retry.

If a technical error prevents a video from being generated, the credits used for that generation are returned with their original expiry dates. This is a credit return, not a cash refund.

Before you share

Watch the whole clip and decide whether you are comfortable sharing its appearance, words and actions. Do not present the generated performance as an authentic recording of something another person said or did.

Media files use public URLs: anyone with an exact link can access the file. Files are not deleted automatically. You can remove an uploaded photo in the creator or delete a video in My videos; task and payment records remain. The Privacy Policy explains storage and third-party processing.
